  26. There are two versions of the full game. One is for pre Risc PC machines, and
  27. costs £4.99 including postage. The other is for Risc PCs only, and features
  28. better graphics and sound, and costs £7.99

  30. This demo version will run on both Risc OS 3.1 and Risc PC machines.

  35. There's an old Exerian proverb: "Zxta'tch df'rtg gt-yqi, Zxta'tch'tch df'pta
  36. na-grl!" No one knows what it means, but everyone agrees that
  37.  
  38. (a) it sounds more like Klingon
  39. (b) it's probably quite profound
  40.  
  41. Exactly what this has to do with you, I can't say. What I can say, however,
  42. is that you have been held captive in the Exerian Prison Caves for commiting
  43. a very serious crime. A very serious crime indeed:-
  44.  
  45. You wore brown shoes and blue trousers!
  46.  
  47. Your cries of innocence have gone unheard, so as a last ditch attempt at
  48. freedom, you have decided to try to escape....
  49.

  51. Instructions
  52. ------------

  54. Each of the 5 caves in the demo prison is patrolled by three guards, who
  55. really are quite stupid - at first, even if they see you, they won't give
  56. chase! You must avoid them, though, because as well as no intelligence, they
  57. also have no niceness!
  58.  
  59. The trick to escaping, as well as avoiding the guards, is to make your way to
  60. the exit. To do this, collect everything - it's as simple as that. (Honest!)
  61.  
  62. Well, okay, it's not quite that simple. Once you have collected all the
  63. candles, the yellow rocks will become books, collect the books and the red
  64. rocks will turn into...., and so on. Once you have just keys remaining, the
  65. guards will turn really nasty and start to chase you - so collect those keys
  66. and get out fast!
